About Us

Hi there! I’m Jessica Britton, the hands (and heart!) behind Simply Soap. As a nurse and a mom, I’ve always been passionate about caring for others, whether it’s my patients, my family, or even our little homestead of forest-raised pigs. Simply Soap started as a personal mission to help my son Tucker, who struggled with severe eczema. After trying every product out there and coming up short, I decided to take matters into my own hands—literally.

Using lard from our happy, pasture-raised pigs, I began crafting soap in my kitchen. What started as an experiment turned into a life-changing solution for Tucker’s skin and an all-natural soap line that we’re thrilled to share with you! Each bar of soap is handmade by me, with love and care, right here in Harford County.
